why coaching with me?
I love teaching! I love my students! But I can’t always offer the class you are looking for. I am offering customizable, online, private lessons, in one hour blocks.
My strength as an instructor is endless patience and the ability to pivot. Do you like diagrams and maps to follow? Or do you prefer a loose approach? I love experimentation rooted in learning all the steps of a process.
I am encouraging, patient, and love figuring out the next step with you.

Skill Specific
Want to learn a coptic book binding? Interested in designing for polymer plate printing but need assistance with your designs? Need tips for linoleum block cutting? Maybe you are setting up a print shop with new-to-you equipment. Want to start teaching to share what you know but need a little guidance to get started?
I have experience in letterpress printing, collage, book binding, some graphic design, writing, and zine making. Oh, and teaching!
Project Support
Have an idea but don’t know where to start? I can help you with concept, materials, and execution of a book or project. Need feedback and constructive assistance towards the next step? I am happy to lend a critical eye and creative encouragement.
Ongoing Practice
If you have taken a class with me or read “The Boring Guide to Staying Inspired,” you know I love practice! I can offer weekly exercises to get you started for a regular art time together. Whether you draw, collage, or write, I have many resources to offer, with creative prompts and fun things to try. Feeling stuck? Maybe a few sessions will get you out of your creative funk.

what to expect
We will meet online using zoom, from the same set-up I use for online classes. We will check in, discuss goals, and at the end of the session, I will assign homework to keep you on track.

$325/ 5 sessions (paid in full, in advance)

This is not a replacement for therapy. Creative coaching may be an opportunity to support a creative process but is not a place for healing. Though I am experienced instructor, I have no background in therapy or counselling. If you have any questions about this please reach out.
