Keep Writing no. 176 December 2023
What do you want more and less of in 2024?
This exercise is inspired by a practice introduced to me by Anis Mojgani, the poet laureate of Oregon. It is a question of what do you want to invite into your life, what will you seek out and what will you pare away?
I love contradictions and the complexity of holding opposing truths. A friend once offered his “congratulations and condolences” when I told him about a break up. Letting go can be hard and liberating. Challenges may bring more ease. It helps to remember what you want more of.
Two color risograph printed at Outlet PDX in gold and white on paper that could offer more contrast, to be honest.
