Michelle Embree is an old friend from my early days in New Orleans. I remember reading her first novel, Manstealing for Fat Girls, at Iron Rail Books.

She has integrated her storytelling skills with her intuition, resulting in very literary tarot readings, which I highly recommend.

She sends me a three card reading twice a year, by request. In one of these, she described the Hermit in a way I had never thought of, as a being capable of crossing the dark dark forest with only a lantern illuminating their next few steps.
