This song has been haunting me since I heard it on a mix CD when it came out and re-introduced to me during a session of Homework Club with Beth Pickens.

As I struggled through the winter of 2023-2024, I wanted a better answer when someone asked me how I was doing. Because I knew I was going to be fine even though I cried daily. And that was a rough conversation at the coffee shop.
