Keep Writing no. 130 February 2020

Tell me about a time you took a chance.

At this time, I was listening to the podcast “Just Break Up” and packing to move to Portland, to be with an old friend. It was a lot of change fast and more was coming that I couldn’t see yet.

I kept my post office box in Arabi, near my studio. I left behind my press and some of my studio, assuming I could return in July 2020 for Kolajfest and to move my press.

I wanted to hear about taking a leap, because I was doing it. Writing it down it might seem ridiculous but I don’t think you could’ve talked me out of it. I think I would’ve regretted not going for it.

Printed with polymer plates and a linocut demo from my last class in New Orleans, on my Heidelberg Windmill, on paper from French Paper Co.
