Keep Writing no. 90 September 2016

Say hi to my mom.

While I was driving a 16 foot van with all my belongings back to Louisiana, I no longer had a post office box. Knowing that I never called my mom enough, I decided to let you all write to my mom and say hello! Of course, in the long list of things I didn’t tell my mom, one of them was that I was sharing her address with strangers. She called me as the first card arrived, only slightly confused because this was definitely in line with other things I had done.

One side is a pigeon that says “sorry mom” and the other is a different pigeon saying “hi mom.” A pigeon for all occasions.

Letterpress printed in Oakland before I moved, with polymer plates on paper from French Paper on a borrowed Heidelberg Windmill for the last time.
