Keep Writing no. 83 February 2016
Share a dream.
When TF died (see Keep Writing number 78) I had dreams about him. In one, he said, “I have to leave” and I said “I know.”
I am cranky when I wake from dreams because I want them to be true. I am sure I am not the only one.
I asked recipients to share a dream.
I also played with platemaking. At the time, all the polymer plates I used for Keep Writing, were made at the studio where I was working. I bought bags of scrap plate material from Boxcar Letterpress, ordered a film negative from a shop in San Francisco, and then cobbled together the plates I needed. Sometimes I would experiment. Here, I scratched off some ion the emulsion off of the black film, and exposed a plate using that film.
Letterpress printed with polymer plates on paper from French Paper on a borrowed Heidelberg Windmill.
