Well, reading the information on the outside of this card, I printed it at home, so I was still gratefully using Ben’s universal one. Thanks Ben. I doubt I thanked him enough.

This one was an exercise in hand lettering, inspired by by pal Bear Herbert. They are no longer a yoga teacher, but a very thoughtful anti-capitalist business coach. They say very smart things very often. This quote was from a recorded class they shared with me. When I asked them about it, they seemed surprised they said it. They continue to say smart things. Maybe I should collaborate with them again.

Letterpress printed with polymer plates on more mystery paper from the SFCB closet. Before SFCB moved into their current and amazing location, they had a spot around the corner. I remember vaguely a closet, what maybe would be a broom closet anywhere else. It contained all sorts of odds and ends for paper. I was an intern there and was told once that I could help myself. Maybe they meant only when I was printing for the SFCB. Maybe they had no idea about my monthly 100 postcards I printed and mailed. But as I was likely undercharging for this project, I was not one to turn down free paper. I saved them 30 minutes in labor in all the paper they didn’t have to move. Though I helped them move so maybe it evens out. Anyway, this paper was lilac but grey at the edges. I wasn’t picky.
